April 3, 2009 - MindFire campaign case study burns up pages of Successful Promotions

MindFire Communications is heating up the pages of the April 2009 edition of Successful Promotions. 

The magazine features a case study about a key account mailing MindFire developed for Bergstrom Inc., a manufacturer of climate control systems for the transportation industry.

The direct mail targeted 170 of the country’s largest trucking fleets. The goal was to make them aware of the savings associated with Bergstrom’s NITE system. The mailing contained a safe and a $1 coin. To open the lock, recipients had to go to a unique URL for the combination. The dollar coin represented the first dollar of the $13,000 they would save if they purchase the NITE system.

The results? Not only did 100% of recipients respond, but 25% shared the information they received with others.

“The success of this mailing is a result of the creative delivery method as well as a very targeted message,” said Erik Meade, director of client services for MindFire Communications. “A promotion such as this one really pays for itself, and we’re thrilled that we were able to share our story with the readers of Successful Promotions.”
