Account Executive

The Account Executive (Brand Arsonist) position is responsible for development and implementing brand and marketing strategy for a multitude of business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients as well as acquisition of new clients seeking strategic brand and marketing services.

This is a full time position that is based in Le Claire, Iowa, with an option for a hybrid work setting.


  • Develops strategic brand and marketing plans and is primarily responsible for executing the marketing plan.
  • Provides direction to design and writing teams, reviews and approves creative/production materials, copy, layouts and production art, and coordinates client approvals.
  • Directs social teams within the agency to provide oversight of content for print, digital and social platforms.
  • Works with interactive/web teams within the agency to support web site development.
  • Manages client ROI and is accountable for performance measurement derived from client planning.
  • Provides clear direction to the traffic team within the agency to assure excellence in project management.
  • Proofreads copy, artwork, agency and printers’ proofs as requested; sees that all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients or turned over to suppliers.
  • Proactively seeks new client relationships and prepares client proposals and pitches.
  • Prepares project estimates as well as is accountable for forecasting and billing.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • At least 10 or more years of previous work experience, preferably at an agency.
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of communication, marketing or business
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation
