In 2020, Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities had big plans to partner with two local hospitals and expand their services to both sides of the Mississippi River. With big plans comes big change, and let’s face it, change can be hard – especially for a service-based brand like Gilda’s Club who is a national leading provider of no-cost cancer support services for children, families and adults.

MindFire’s job was two-fold: create development materials for a multi-million-dollar capital campaign and develop a communication strategy to help make the transition for members as easy as possible. We started with the development of key messages centered around “Expanding Hope.” From there, we got to work creating collateral assets to aid in fundraising, strategic member communication and media Q&As, and eventually we helped Gilda’s Club develop a social media program to build momentum and excitement around a change that would shape the future of Gilda’s Club.
