Who are the team members involved with the website redesign?
Who are the decisionmakers?
Please also briefly describe your internal approval process. This information is needed for building milestone schedules (e.g. sitemap, wireframe, design and prototype approvals).
Who is the primary contact for domain-related questions/information?
When the new site is ready, someone will need to update your domain’s DNS records to point it (and any other relevant domains) to the new server.
Is there a preferred (or required) date for the new site to go live?
Is there a budget for the website's redesign?
What site redesign goals will your team be monitoring?
Examples: Improving brand/customer experience, driving traffic to distributors, customer conversions, efficiency from an administrative standpoint, etc.
How will you measure the success of your new site?
Success might be measured by overall site traffic or visits to specific pages, downloads, referrals, generated leads, etc.
What analytics platform will be utilized, if any?
Example: Google Analytics, Adobe, etc. MindFire strongly encourages the utilization of an analytics platform. Google Analytics is free.
Are there any pixels/tracking code you actively use?
Example: Facebook, Google AdWords, etc. Are there any you want to add or remove?
What do you like or dislike about your current website?
Are there specific pieces you currently have that you wish had been done differently?
What do you like or dislike about your competitors’ (or similarly sized) websites?
Please include any relevant URLs.
Are there websites (not just industry-specific ones) to which your team gravitates?
Do you have examples of sites that achieve one or more elements your team would like to incorporate into your site? Please list their URLs and the goals/tasks they accomplish.
