The account coordinator is responsible for supporting the account executives with client growth and maintenance. This position is perfect for someone who is very organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong writing skills, loves creative problem solving, and is seeking a fun and collaborative work environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop the skills needed to advance to an account executive position.
Maintains all project schedules to ensure that they proceed according to plan and deadlines, drawing attention of account executives to potential problems before they occur.
Provides assistance to account executives on day-to-day client activities, including responding to client phone calls and emails, production and creative deadlines, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow.
Assists with social media writing/posting for clients and MindFire, along with other writing duties as needed.
Performs communication (phone and email) with various suppliers for project print and production needs along with entering and maintaining purchase orders for those needs in our system.
Proofreads copy, artwork, agency and printers’ proofs as requested; sees that all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients or turned over to suppliers.
Assists in preparing client proposals, marketing communications and strategic marketing plans, media and public relations plans.
Performs administrative duties, such as preparing for company-wide FireStarters meetings, communicating with internal vendors, answering the phone in the office, transferring and managing messages as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
At least one year of previous work or internship experience, preferably at an agency.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable with digital and social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn as part of integrated marketing programs.
Marketing, Journalism or related degree a plus.
Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation.
