Position description

As an Interactive/Web Manager you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our clients’ websites. You will collaborate with our team and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and exceed client expectations.

Your responsibilities include planning, strategy development, organizing and managing the workflow of various web projects. Projects can range from simple landing pages to entire site builds. Additionally, you will facilitate communication between clients and MindFire to achieve top-quality project results.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead website development projects for clients from initiation to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Define project scope, objectives and deliverables. This includes creating the project statement of work, timelines and estimates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients (and any third-party vendors if applicable) to meet project requirements and deadlines

Site Architecture and Wireframe Development

  • Develop site architecture plans, including site maps, navigation structures and page hierarchies. Ensure intuitive and logical flow through the website to enhance user experience and usability.
  • Create wireframes based on site architecture plans and project goals.
  • Translate conceptional ideas into wireframes that illustrate layout, functionality and user interactions.
  • Present wireframes to internal teams and clients.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the creative team (designers and content developers) to create brand compliant, compelling website designs and content that align with client objectives.
  • Work closely with the programmer(s) to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation of design concepts.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that promotes innovation and excellence.

Client Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding website development or any web-related project.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations. This includes, but is not limited to, the MindFire website development process, discovery sessions, visual design presentations and Content Management System (CMS) admin training.
  • Manage project updates, address requests and concerns. Manage client expectations and ensure a high level of client satisfaction with all projects delivered.

Quality Assurance and Optimization

  • Work with the team to conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks on websites to ensure functionality, performance and compatibility across devices and browsers.
  • Implement basic SEO best practices and ensure that websites are optimized for search engine visibility and user experience upon site launch.
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization. An understanding of GA4 and familiarity with Databox and Adobe are beneficial but not required.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies related to web development.
  • Provide recommendations for incorporating new technologies or strategies that enhance website performance and drive results for clients.

Email Marketing

  • Work with team members, including, but not limited to, account executives, content developers and designers to gather components for email marketing campaigns.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns to engage client audiences and drive business growth.
  • Monitor key email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, web development or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in website development, including site architecture design, wireframe development and UX/UI design principles. A basic understanding of front-end and back-end technologies is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in wireframing tools is preferred but not required.
  • A strong understanding of web technologies, responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
  • Experience in email marketing. Familiarity with platforms like MailChimp, Constant Contact and Keap is preferred but not required.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing web development projects in an agency or client-service environment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles, basic SEO strategies and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics 4).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS); WordPress is preferred.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
