There are few things that make us happier than when clients ask us to evolve their brand and infuse it with fresh energy. That’s exactly what we did for South Slope Cooperative, a broadband internet, phone and television services provider in East Central Iowa.
Using our FireBrand process, we got to work by diving into research and data. Research and discovery helped reveal South Slope’s true brand (one of energy, personality and innovation) and identified a huge opportunity for the company to leverage its brand to fully stand out from its competition. Using the insights we gained, we created an updated brand foundation that included the brand promise, position, pillars and key messages. Next, we created a brand style guide and developed a tagline: Ridiculously Reliable Internet.
With the brand foundation firmly in place, we turned our attention to a brand plan, which was designed to communicate the brand re-launch to both internal and external audiences. This included internal employee engagement tactics, an updated website and an engaging branding campaign that connected print advertisements with social media efforts and more. This strategic approach has had a dramatic effect on brand awareness and association including an increase in ad click throughs and conversion rates.
